Installation Process

Wedges stacked in storage; caster bed not pictured
Caster bed installed based on snapped center line and x-axis; center pivot bearing bolted to floor
Casters leveled with shims and soundboard, then bolted to floor
Insulation added between casters for sound reduction
Sweeps of MDF attached to wedges in caster paths for longevity and noise reduction
Wedges installed on casters to create spinning disk
Disk intalled; motor placed and chain installed (not pictured)

George Fox University Theatre designed and built a stock 28′ turntable that has been used for various productions, both in their space and with Broadway Rose Theatre Company. Each install has included at least one major upgrade to continue to enhance the revolve’s efficiency, accuracy, noise reduction, and/or longevity. Emma has lead all installs since 2021.
